Analytic floors

Whenever I hear people speaking on things from a framework that I find objectionable but nevertheless see some degree of explanatory value in (e.g. Jungians, Anarchists, neoliberals) it feels as if I have something of an implicit analytic floor in my brain. If I hear an ardent Trump support say something that I agree with, I'm still unlikely to give them credit for that statement because I find no legitimacy in the ideological framework that they justify that opinion with. However if a Jungian said some shit to me about how violence plagues the collective unconscious of America, I'd likely give them more credit for that opinion even though I think the ideological framework they used to justify it is illegitimate.

Some questions that still stand for me re: my analytic floor: what specific groups fall above and below my analytic floor? Are there trends in these groups that might explain the overall exclusion factors for being above my analytic floor? What might my analytic floor say about my own ideology, or my own psychology?
